Hey, nice effect and works well in this photo. Was this done by rotating the zoom on a long exposure, or done in PP?
Thanks. It was done with a zoom during long exposure. The weather was so bad, that I was looking for some formal effects to get some fun :-)
Well, then your creativity seems to payed off, really like this one. You seem to be getting pretty good usage out of that 10-18. I also love this lens.
Thank you Rob. If you ever try it, be aware that the most difficult part is to zoom enough - not too much and not too little. It might be also good idea to shot someone in the "running" position (Red Hood i.e. :)) or the snail (that can look funny). I also think that while central composition is attractive because of the symetrical character of the motion effect, putting main subject slightly off center, opens new possibilities. Finally, it might be good idea to change the angle. I.e. Shooting apple on the branch from bellow, with a tree above, should result in a falling effect. However, this effect can become borring after a while, so spare it for the really despirate situations :-)Best regards,Viktor
