A shot taken with my big Tammie 200-400. There's a big storm on the way and as always gulls fly inland to avoid the inclement weather. Usually I try to avoid taking pics of birds when it's overcast cos they never come out well, but in this case things worked out a bit better...the gray gives it an ethereal quality that I rather like. Oh, just in case anyone was wondering, this isn't a Photoshop composite..one gull just happened to be landing at the same instance the other was taking off and I managed to get a few lucky shots.
