I had an interesting photo experiment of using several strobes at once on a day before Christmas. I usually use two, three or max. four flashes for studio shoots. My flash setup consisted of two fill flashes in front; one softbox and a stripbox, one 7 foot octabox for the main light on the model right, one flash with a grid for the face, one flash for the background and two or three flashes with grids for the hair light and to make a contour. If you like it you can read some more about the shoot here: http://www.e-fotoportal.com/first-experiment-using-several-strobes/

My second post processing version of the same photo I published previously. The previous one wasn’t really my style but I was just exploring new some ways because you never know what you may find out.

My first experiment with having no front light at all. Just a reflector was for the front light. All the light comes from behind. Better quality photos at my Flickr account: http://www.flickr.com/photos/peterkremzar/
