This is a family member photographed in the "macro" mode (actually just a close focus using the macro setting). This is photographed at about 60mm in SLR equavelnt focal length.
The idea of this series of three photos is to show what kinds of portraits are possible with the G!X.
As you can infer from these images, a face-only portrait is impossible with the G!X (unless you crop of course, which is quite feasible with the G!X splendid sharpness and definition) but a head and shoulders portrait is easily possible.
The stuffed animal is, face on, about the same size as a person's face would be in a portrait.
