For work with a flash the Olympus C-8080 is ideal, through its excellent optics, and rather slow CCD chip. Macro is just as easy as more normal activities, like portraits and this key, found at Grimeton, Sweden.
Worth to note that the flash should be Olympus-compatible to be of best use, by the way!

Last year our house had all its windows and outer doors exchanged - think this picture illustrates it pretty well!

Grimeton LW antennas
Taken on: Apr 25, 2010
The T-like antennas on the right in the picture are the the ones connected to the LW transmitters (the antique ones in the end closest to the camera, and the modern military ones in the other end - far out of bounds for civilians).

Grimeton LW antenna

Grimeton is the last of the big LW transmitter arrays that was used in the early 19th century to transmit business tegrams across the world - some six station took care of the global needs!
Taking looking up one of the 200 meter tall towers. The orginal transmitters are still there, and the antennas are nowadays used for transmitting to, and listening to, submarines, Swedish and foreign!

Dark skies over Europe

This was taken during the Ash-from-the-sky event, that stopped any aircraft from taking off, or land. During a few hours we had snow, hail, rain, and glorious sunshine!

Closeup
Taken on: Apr 25, 2010
At my mother's funeral we ordered lots of composites (.i.e. flowers like the gerbera in the photo, by my wife,
as my Pentax kit lens isn't very good at closeups!).

Canada_geese

As the sun disappeared behind the horizon, the Canadian Geese decided to make the islet beside our camp into their nesting ground for the evening, at least.
Propped up the Olympus C-8080 with some rocks to get a fairly steady shot - not too bad?!

Kerosene lamp in Maine
Taken on: Feb 28, 2010
The little kerosene lamp gave enough light for the Olympus C-8080 to take a fairly decent picture, even if the colour balance is way off!
