First of all, welcome to DPR - I see you've just joined.

Since you were kind enough to comment on my photo, telling me it needed more contrast, I will return the favor. Notice, though, that I preface my remarks with 'in my humble opinion' - because you may like your photo just as it is.

In my humble opinion, your photo, 'Escalor' is too light. Both highlights and shadows are clipped, according to the histogram. If you have an editing program, you might try darkening the middle tones with levels or curves. A bit of saturation in the figures might work too. Did you try a vertical shot ? - that might show more height to the building.
