The metal aperture plate is also a press fit, but there's no access to allow you to punch it out like the sieve plate. So pry it out. I used an allen wrench.

The sieve plate has just a bit of adhesive on it, in addition to the press-fit.

The metal sieve plate is press-fit into the back of the lens. Push it out from the inside of the back.

The threads of the screw have a lubricant grease, so completely removing it is messy. It's also unnecessary. Mine needed to be backed out about two full turns.
