A ten days trip which involves drive to Gangotri , the ancient source of the holy river Ganga and trek to the finest high altitude Himalayan lake, Neel Tal (4800 mts above sea level) punctuated with breath stopping close view of Greater Himalayan peaks e.g. Sivaling, Bhagirati, and Jogin Group of peaks. The blue lake with melting snow of Bhagirati glacier originates Akasaganga, to reach this place one has to trek to Tapovan (20 Km from Gangotri, Origin of River Ganges) and hop over boulders.ous, but the rewards are very high.
