Patriotism should be avoided in school lessons because British history is “morally ambiguous”, a leading educational body recommends.........History and citizenship lessons should stick to the bare facts rather than encouraging loyalty to Britain when covering subjects such as the Second World War or the British Empire, the Institute of Education researchers said. Why is it that my heart leaves me hanging by a thread; usually a precarious one. To let go isn't to forget, not to think about, or ignore. It doesn't leave feelings of anger, jealousy, or regret. Is he such a bad apple, or is it his outward appearance that offends? Is he really such a 'pomme de terror'? Maybe his fall from the tree was a little harder than the other childrens. Should that be any reason to be weary of him, or afraid, or worse still, taunt him for his situation?
