Normandy - Falaise Flora
Taken on: Jul 16, 2011
No idea what plant this is but the vibrant colour was too attractive to miss. This is as OOC except re-save with PSE8 for medium quality JPEG as I'm running low on upload quota - I think the IQ is vey good for FZ100.

Caen 16th Century Merchant Houses
Taken on: Jul 16, 2011
The house on the left was built in 1509 and the pair are unuusal for having so much detailed timber carving. I have a 4 short vertical panaorame of teh left hand building but, unfortunately, it is far too large for DPR without severe resizing.

Caen view:Abbey aux Hommes & Notre-Dame-De-Froidrue
Taken on: Jul 16, 2011
This is view is through a slot in the wall of the Ducal Chateau wal. lThe Notre-Dame-De-Froidrue is on - Rue Froide, not sure if this is stil in active use, it is not mentioned on the tourist map. Maybe because there are so amy other major churches and abbeys.

Falaise Church of Saint Trinite
Taken on: Jul 16, 2011
This is the most central church in Falise. There are three others: Saint Laurent, St Gervais and Notre Dame de Guibray. There is very little stained galss in thes churches, probably due to bombing in World war II.
