Somewhat noisy, had to bring it up in Photoshop, was really that dark. The 8080 isn't the best at anything over ISO 100

She used to be a patient model :-) The Olympus VR-340 is a neat little pocket sized camera. It doesn't perform so well in low light, with mushy edges etc. from overly aggressive noise control...it's OK for small snaps in that regard. It has a good macro capability, and also in good light works pretty well (not so mushy) when set at a low ISO range. For 79.95 on sale, for something a person can stick in a pocket with a 24-240mm EFL, it works pretty well...and really isn't much bigger than some phones.

The distortion is caused by taking the picture at extremely close range, at the EFL of 19.6mm. Thanks to son for subject matter.

EFL of 19.6mm (135 equiv.) Probably a bit wider if a Raw converter that has no mandatory 'auto correction' for lenses, such as Raw Therapee or Aftershot Pro...or uses more of the sensor's data. Since comparing Raw+jpgs from the same photo, the Raw files come out noticeably wider with some converters...as did this one if correction isn't used or needed, or the converter uses more of the available data. This setup with the 14mm and WCON .07 requires a couple of spacers (clear filters) to get the WA in the correct position so that the corners aren't way too soft...and a step ring 46-55mm.
