Tree swallow

Tree Swallow on barbed wire

This is a tree swallow I managed to photo in one of the fields near Corvallis, Oregon. Shot with the 30-110mm and cropped. This was hand shot with a Nikon V2.

Guarding the nest

This is a picture of the same fellow on a different day. This one is uncropped but with the same setup. I'm guessing I was about 12 feet (~4 meters) away when I took it.

Great start guys. But, The thread title needs to be changed to include the words Nikon 1 system.
Less confusing that way, and so it also shows up on google search.

Nicely done Aepa.

Thank you. I see so many nice species on this forum and can't help but wish we could publish them in our own book. (Birds 2014)
