India Pictures with G1X MKII
2

Here are a few pictures I took with the G1X II while in India.  Wish I had more time while in India to take pictures, but I was able sneak in a couple hours.  Thanks for looking.

Another great set, Dave!  You manage to caapture the most interesting pictures.  They are simply a pleasure to look at, and I can see a story in each and every one.  In your hands, that G1X-II camera really sings!  I am envious of your talent and skill.
Well done!

Re: Memories and stories in your pictures

These are beautiful pictures.  I love the human interest element, which like Dale mentions, each have a story.  The first image is gorgeous, and I thought the one with the guy in the Google shirt sweeping the street was great, as well as the really wonderful image of the young woman with the baby.  Your pictures are up-close and personal, and at the same time, have a definite "sense of place", which to me, is important in pictures.

I was in India in 2005, and there were pictures to be taken everywhere you look.  I discovered after downloading my images, that there were so many stories in the pictures that I actually had not noticed at the time.

Super pictures…. thanks for the memories and for posting them for us here.

Love the first one in particular.

Light is always what I am looking for, and that's beautiful.

Not so keen on the mixed b&w and colour, but that's my own personal thing.
