SX50, Pre Fledge instructions

The parent's will use many ploys to get the babies to take flight. There were six babies in this cavity and they all fledged within 30 minutes following these captures.

The mama bird is flying back and forth in front of her brood, she calls for them to leave the porch ,some jump to the skies immediately while others have to be coaxed in different ways. The adults know when the babies are ready to fly.

The mama bird in this case had just pushed another of the babies off the porch and he took to the skies before he hit the ground as they most always do. She tried to push this baby off too but he hung on and is hollering either HELP!! or STOP!!

Fascinating, Dick! The only problem is your series are so wonderful, I almost forgot how difficult was to achieve them ! They seem just natural, like every aspect in the continuous reborn of the life in Nature.

Congratulations and thank you very much for your effort,

Augustin

Beautiful Dick, I have enjoyed this whole series that you have brought to us. I wonder what do you have in mind for us when they're all goneĀ

BTW I like that the EXIF data in the second picture was available.

Cheers,

Rob.

Rob if you ever want the exif data just holler and if I have saved the original I sure can make it available.
