Last Wednesday Nancy got out with the SD1M and her favorite prime, the 50mm. These shots are not as sharp as they might be because of wind and a case of vertigo, but this lens works very well with the SD1M camera. Incidentally, Nancy picked f8 to play with the shallower depth of field.

All of these shots are hand-held. They all have links to there location on our pbase site where you will have access to various sizes, including the original. All shots are at iso200, with an Exposure Bias of +1/3. We hope you enjoy them.

All comments are welcome.

Hi Nancy:  Interesting group of flower photos, however the focus seems a little off on some of them and the exposure a little hot (maybe a half to 1 stop over exposed).

Hi Larry. Well with wind and a shallow DOF it was difficult to get the focus I really wanted in all cases, but I do like to play with DOF.

Thanks for your comments.
