Just for fun (Panasonic camera/pet-related)

I work with animals full-time, and I have several pets at home, so I'm always interested in anything and everything to do with critters. I'm sure that plenty of you have pets that you've practiced your photography on, so show us one of your better shots!

Rules for this thread:

-1 photo only

-Must contain a pet (no, spouses and kids don't count!)

-Must be taken with a Panasonic camera

I'll start. This is my pet toad Gwen, shortly after growing legs (taken with a ZS15):

Your turn!

Nico,

i predict this may be the longest thread ever created!!!

Pets + photography = Infinity.

Here is our cat, named Nico, and his reflection.

This is Bear. He's in doggie heaven now but we had a lot of great times together. Here he is curious as always.

That might be the smallest toad I ever saw. This should be a good thread.

Wow Tim, every time I see your beautiful dog, I have empathy for you, and concern that one day Bella will be just a wonderful memory for us.

Enjoy the day,

Joel

Gwen is awesome, never seen a toad that small.

Here's Piñon 3-miles into a 6-mile hike, cooling his body:

Gwen is one wayward jump away from being lost for days! This is speaking from experience when my kids were little and we had a couple of little frogs as pets for a time.

One of the first pictures I took with the FZ200 after I got it. I was relaxing on my recliner, the dog relaxing on my lap. I was randomly taking pictures to figure out how the camera works and this was one of the random shots.

At 9 years old Molly is starting to get up in age now. I have never heard such a loud bark from such a little dog.

I'm glad I have a big monitor -- otherwise I wouldn't even see that toad!

This is Nicky, our 13-year-old Yorkie.  Almost 3 years ago he was suddenly struck with a vestibular syndrome, which caused instant complete disorientation. Two vets told us it was either a stroke or a tumor and only gave him a few months to live.  Knowing our dog, we were pretty sure his symptoms didn't match either diagnosis.  Now his only remaining symptom is a permanent head tilt and he's a happy, playful dog.

My old mate Bazz who sadly passed away a couple of months ago, we found him in a rescue home when he was about 2 years old & he had lots of hang ups about various things but gradually we convinced him that the world was a good fun place to be & we had lots of great times together,

He was nearly 16 when he died but only a few days before he had been running after his favorite football in the garden, R.I.P. Bazz.

I believe this is Peanut (Aliak's Peanutty Goodness) the beautiful young Alaskan Klee Kai that was shown for the first time at the UKC Premiere last year.  She is toy size and weighs less than 10 pounds.  I had just gotten the FZ200 and was still trying to get used to it as I took the pictures. These dogs are literally life-changing.  They are as smart as a toddler.

Wow....Like everybody else ....I have never seen a toad that small much less a pet toad....cute.

This is my 3 year old Border collie mix Patches and she wants permission to go across our driveway to visit the neighbors cat but what you cannot see is we are about 15 feet above the driveway and it is about 35 feet across to where the cat is so Patches will just have to stay where she is.

Poor Patches......the cat so near.... so far LOL
