Watch the snow roll in, another spring foothils hike (SX50)

I went on another hike in the foothills near my home yesterday. Hopefully you guys aren't getting tired of the foothills, but that's what I have to work with right now.

I walked a ridge line that between 2 canyons and watched snow squalls roll up from the valley below.

The was cold and windy but light was very interesting.

This is a pano shot looking south, showing Parley's Canyon and I-80 at the base of the snow capped mountains. I thought this one turned out pretty good.

Snow rolling up Parley's Canyon (left) and Emigration Canyon (right) .

This shot was taken in TV Mode.

This shot was taken in HDR Mode.

A closeup of the snow in Emigration Canyon.

Heavy snow in Parley's Canyon (left) while it is relatively clear in Emigration canyon (right).

Closeup of the above.

It cleared up on the way down.

On the way down pano in HDR. It,s not perfect but I still like it.

Thanks for looking.

Another beautiful set of pictures from your hike Evan. Don't worry I never get tired of seeing your pictures. Between your's and Augustin's pictures it's like watching a Travel show.

You can see the snow falling in Emigration Canyon. We're well into the spring but winter still won't let go up in the mountains.

Thanks for sharing Evan,

Cheers,

Rob.
