A very interesting series of image Ian. I like them. I've never seen a porcupine in a tree before.

A nice selection of varied images. Sets a high standard. I like them all but the deer in the long grass was particularly eye-catching for me - a lovely image. Oh - and the frog. And the spider. The fly was pretty good too. Ok, they're all good.

I too found the images interesting.  As to porcupines Ron they spend a good deal of time in trees in the winter -- eating the tender bark.  We had then for years in our back yard (woods) but I am afraid that the fisher cats have gotten to them -- my wife saw the last porcupine about a year ago.  The porcupine was coming down one tree and the fisher cat was coming down another.  Life can be hard out in the wild.

Re: Ducks,Deer,Moose,Bee,spider, Porcupine ...

I find them most of the time in willows around low lying land.

When you find them on land they usually become defensive and it’s hard to capture a natural pose.

Most of the time you find them in a tree they could care less if you approach them

Thank you

How would I guess you’d like the toad

Funny thing with the toad I was on holidays in BC with a couple lenses and no flash, here I am out in the woods photographing reptiles at midnight with nothing other than the onboard flash. I counted about 20 toads that night, the other sex of this green toad have more colors to them.
