I hate to say it but a system like this seems to be what lots of folks would love to have with a Foveon stuffed inside.

It seems to have that simple pure photography feel Sigma seems to be aiming for with the DP family.

Hmmmm.

It looks totally inadequate to me, compared to a Sony A6000 at a fraction of the price.

Leica have used a lower grade Sony sensor, the LCD doesn't tilt, there are fewer controls. You can put a Summicron on an A6000 if you must have Leica lens quality. (But Sigma are making some very good lenses these days.)

I wouldn't want one of these as a gift.

Of course you can take good photos with any camera, if you have the skills.

I hope Sigma does not put it's effort in making a new MILC mount, instead I would like to see them put their effort in creating a great viewfinder. Big, bright and hybrid preferably.
The DPM's are so good partly because the design is a matched lens-sensor combo.
With a MILC system you wil not have the same high IQ. And the prices are not higher then a high grade lens alone (less even) so I see no use at all in a MILC system.

Like this like what exactly? Aside from Leica dot it's completely unexciting.

+1 for the viewfinder.
