I bought a Nikon WU‑1b which lets me have live view on my iPhone. Apple sells iPhone adapters that allow you to output to an HDMI device. So, I would think if you got to stream to your phone, you can stream to your projector if it has an HDMI input and you have the appropriate connections.

Check out this article where you can use the WU-1a on the D800:

If the projector has an HDMI input you could use any number of wireless HDMI devices to stream the output. I use this kit at home to stream from my cable box in the living room to the tv in my bedroom. I don't see any reason why you couldn't plug your camera into the transmitter and send your video to the projector.

The upside to using something that isn't camera specific is that you can use it for other things as well, like sending video from your laptop/pc to the projector. There are quite a few different wireless HDMI devices available at a range of prices, you should be able to find something thats suits your needs and price range.

This.  Just use the HDMI out.
