HDMI cable question

I want to view images from my Nikon D600 on the LG TV we just bought.

The camera manual says I need a type C mini-pin HDMI cable.

The manual for the TV doesn't specify the type of HDMI cable I would need.

My question is, how can I make sure that whatever HDMI cable I buy (probably on Amazon) will plug into my camera AND my TV?

You need a cable with a standard HDMI cable connection for the TV end and the appropriate one for the other end. Amazon sells them all.

e.g. HDMI to mini HDMI (male to male)

I have that cable and it works perfectly.

Also, don't forget, the D600 records to H.264.  Any modern TV with an SD slot can play them back natively.

I would want a cable considerably longer than 18 inches to connect a camera to a TV or anything for that matter. Even Nikon usually provides 1.5 meter length cables with its cameras.

If you actually looked at the link I posted you will see that they have options up to 6 ft
