L-bracket for X-T1?

Anyone successfully fitted an L-bracket to their X-T1 yet?

Searching Amazon for "universal L-plate" I see a number of models similar to this:

http://www.amazon.com/dp/B004G8ZSAE/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_S_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=3RJFWFA7C9YJJ&coliid=I3BBPXZKAN5GDL

Judging by the dimensions given this one should fit but with "L" section spaced out from body. Looks like "L" section might still hit the strap lug though. And the rear lip might prevent LCD from tilting.

I love the solid feel of my RRS plate and grip for X-Pro1 but don't want to spend that much again for a custom unit-- won't be available for a while anyway.

Anyone have good/bad experience with generics?

Sunwayfoto Dpl-01. Fits the XE-2 like a glove, lightweight, 60$. For me it doubles as a grip.
