Weekend MONOCHROME #168 |31-02 Jan| Post yours!

The world always looks a little different in shades of gray - or of sepia, or of platinum, or of ...

Post a monochrome or two, taken any time, with any camera, of any subject, processed any way you like. Please post your pictures as a response to this opening message.

Feel free to comment - or not - on any of the posts. If you don't want to comment but like a photo just give it a "thumbs up".

How does the world look to you?

Conrad must be busy so I decided to start this for anyone that wants to participate.

The image below was captured at the 2009 Run for The Cure Fashion show to support research for breast cancer. The models are cancer survivors.

Tea cozy.
In reply to 19andrew47, 10 months ago

My wonderful wife gave me a new tea pot. A traditional hand made Japanese cast iron enameled tea pot. Built like an Olympus E-x series camera but should have an even longer service life. Oh, and it makes great tea!

Ah, we are thinking along the same lines Brent. Very nice. I like the rising steam. How much hot tea will it take to see us all thru this abysmal winter?

So is the dragon cup for drinking - or do you put the tea leaves in there and put it in the pot?  Just a beautiful set.

It has been a cold winter - but for some reason I kind of like it.  There has been enough new snow to keep everything fresh looking - plus a couple of nice blizzards.  I think my impression of winter has gotten warped since I started working from home - plus I only get a little time off by myself to go and explore, so I really cherish it when I get the chance.

Hope you are doing well and braving the elements.  I see you have been chasing nudes around in the fields with your camera, so life must be good

Take care Mark!
