Brahmas, Autumn Leaves, Gull & Pizza
In reply to Me Tarzan, 7 months ago

I have a lot of different subjects this week. The brahma calves were in a field and I stopped, climbed a hill and shot through the devil wired fence. I did a high key version, too but I think I like this one the best. I also got a picture of the papa, but haven't had time to pp him yet.

Pizza. It was great.

Shot some gull images before I happened across the calves. Not thrilled with this one; lighting was wacked out, but I think it came out ok.

From fall.

Looking forward to viewing what you shot or pp'ed this week.

They call them Lotus flowers here in Thailand, and they never cease to amaze me of their beauty in all their various stages. I have zillions of gorgeous shots of them in bright pinks, yellows, and greens, but here are two shots that reached out for their unusual quality- even dead flowers have their fascination.

The first seems to have almost a monkey face.

The second eerily reminds me of "The Scream".

Those are great photos! Not only is Lotus beautiful, but Lotus Root is a wonderful vegetable, virtually unknown here in the U.S.

Two really great shots KK, and very aptly titled. I might have called the the first one "ET looking for a telephone..."

Display model, factory settings - hand held.

Heavily compressed - to show where the crop below came from.

Cropped only.

Next time I got there I'll take an identical shot with the HS50.
