The Sunday BIRD Volume 9, Issue 28 January 5, 2014
We spent part of the last week of 2013 near "Dog Beach" in San Diego along the estuary of the San Diego River. Thus besides letting our dog run on the beach, just a hundred or so yards away we were able to observe some bird life. camera is E-pl1, lens is panasonic 45-200
Little Blue Heron
Not sure of name for this one
Thought maybe the forum blues got you down. Anyway, nice pics. The 90-250 is working great for me with the EM-1. Just ok for BIFs, stellar for more stationary birds, however. Focus peaking is really great. Stay away from the lions. Jeff
Excellent set, very nice light and detail. Well done.
Very good Peter, I like the first pelican in flight shot best. They are always good fun to shoot.
Very well captured. Nice looking bird for a vulture! Which lens were you shooting with?
I like all three quite a lot. The first looks like an a cappella singing trio performing for the camera. Nice set.
Excellent stuff as usual Collin. Love the ostrich chicks and the juvenile flycatcher. Looks like the 150 +EC2 works well with the E-30.
Nice set. I really like the two shots of the sparrows on the wire. Nice sharp detail & nicely composed. The last one is very nice too.
