I am very sorry to hear about your injuries.  Hope your recovery goes well and you are not in a lot of pain.  The good news is you are still on the right side of the greenstuff!

Some tropical bird I spotted up in a tree. A center crop (almost 100%), the Olympus 75 1.8 is really sharp!

Recent E-M1 + 12-40 offerings (35-100 mixed in)

Off to greener pastures, I suppose.

This trio (of China berries?) has been lying in the same spot on a barbecue grill for weeks. No wind, I guess.

Autumn lingers longer in South Texas

I've been trying to photograph these birdhouses for close to a year. I'm still not satisfied.

I've noticed….

….that others have asked how you managed to do that, but have seen no answer. Then again, I haven't read all the posts since then. In any case, I was sorry to read about your malady, and I hope your recovery is thorough and uneventful.

No time for art this week again, the holiday is upon us...

I hope the healing process is going well, sounds like a serious auto accident or similar from the injuries.  No matter what I wish you well.

here are two snaps, one of my son enjoying a festive night.  And immediately after him on my shoulders, luckily I was able to keep his feet out of the frame, while I tried to get the wainning light off the clouds and holiday lights on the train! lots of play in iOS Snapseed to get what is close to what I saw that night.  In fact too much PP for what were snapshots in my day.

Re: a few shots from D-League basketball game

the lighting didn't allow for great ISO (1600) at 1/250 on the long zoom, but I'm still very happy with how these came out.

Sincerest best wishes for as painless and quick recovery as can be expected.   A ladder incident. . . I've lately become acutely aware that I don't bounce like I used to when younger, as you've found out yourself [g].

Just a hand-held shot from last week's bridge session, still in awe of what's possible with high ISOs and IBIS (remembering how frustrating the practice was several years ago, and how it's evolving today).

With the m.ZD 12/2, with a bit of LR duotone over the top.

Re: I've noticed….

That would have been my guess, having been there, sort of.  In 2001 I fell off a ladder, broke the humerus and three ribs.  Not nearly as bad as your situation.

Like the river image.  Very scenic, also much warmer than here!

A well composed scene but really like the processing and tones of the image.
