Please show me your 40-150mm photos!

I am getting a free 40-150mm lens very soon with my purchase of an e-pl5 kit.

I have never used anything longer than 90mm (Vivitar 90mm f2.8 Macro + adapter). I have absolutely no ideas what to try with this zoom. Please help!

If I can get within a few metres of birds, I can achieve sharp results than can then stand quite a bit of cropping.

These two are from the 40-150 with an E-PL3.

It's a very versatile lens. I posted a little review with photographs here:

Plenty right here! Some are with the 4/3 version but it's optically the same lens. In fact I have a whole gallery here:

http://www.jkaesler.zenfolio.com/p1029058014

Enjoy it, it's one of the most convenient lenses in the m43 lineup.

Cheers,

Jules

A surprisingly good lens for the price, size and weight. Good for certain kinds of landscapes where you want to convey scale and distance.

There are some other photos taken with the 40-150 on an E-P5 in this One Camera Thirty Days exercise.

The 40-150 is a great all around lens.  Some mentioned it was good for landscapes.  It really does quite well on close ups also.

Thanks! Those are really good pics, showing many kinds of possibilities too!

Guess I will have a lot fun using it.

(BTW, the two lenses e-pl5 kit just dropped $50 further down today to only $449 at Best Buy Canada.)
