What we want for Xmas

Welcome

Yeah well we know what we wont get, what do we want instead.

I want a CPL for my 70-200.

I'm toying with going FF,but know as soon as I get it Santa will release the ''mythical''.....old fart.

Merry Xmas to you.

Regards

Roger

The Nikon D400 of course.

Other than that I don't know whether to go for the TC-20e III and Nikon 300mm f2.8 or the Nikon 600mm  f4; or perhaps both.  I suspect that it shall be both.

For me . . . just some time.

I already got a whole bunch of new toys this year. As my wife says . . .  early Birthday and Xmas presents. <grin>

And I got a whole bunch of light modifiers coming in the mail, hoping that some arrive before Xmas break.

So for me, just some time to relax + play around with all this new stuff.

I just got an ipad mini.  Like everything new these days, there is no user's manual, printed or CD.  I guess they would rather save five bucks than help out buyers.

I had to call customer service when I couldn't get past the registration.  How many other purchasers had to do the same thing and did Apple really save any money by omitting the manual.  They gave to pay the customer service reps, don't they.  At least she spoke English and was pleasant.

LOL

I'm the same way. I need to read the manual. LOL

My daughter handed me her iPod and when I ran into trouble I had to ask her how it worked.

Nothing very much ...

Health and happiness, I suppose. Any material things I just go and get when I want them enough.

I wouldn't mind a faster set of precision fingers - I play flamenco guitar.

World Peace!
In reply to Nikonicon, 11 months ago

Welcome to you too, Roger

Let's hope 2014 will bring us what we won't get this Xmas!

For now I'll settle for world peace, and at least 15cm of good ice to skate on this winter in the province of Friesland, The Netherlands.

see Elfstedentocht:

Happy Holidays to all,

André

That's because they'd rather you download it to your iPad Mini to read it there. It's also "ecofriendly" as they don't have to print on paper.

Here's the manual in PDF format. Save to computer & read it there or transfer to your new iPad Mini:

Thanks Dezm for the link to the manual.  I haven't been able to find the user's manual on the ipad mini yet.  It must be there somewhere.

Call me Dez.

I have an iPad as well and ALL of my PDF manuals are in there for quick reference. I'd suggest downloading the PDFs to your camera(s) as well

Oh that's nice for them. They will be able to help and encourage each other, perhaps play duets. I am lucky as I have a magic guitar, made for me in Madrid 40 years ago. Sometimes it plays all by itself (or seems to).
