Or is it the other way around, More Is Less?

Thanks Ian. It was freezing & windy. Had to weigh down the tripod with my camera bag.

My girlfriend was with me and stuck it out. She's a trooper

More or less - nice but ...

HI Dez,

I've been to New York and enjoy your excellent images, including this one; however, how about getting out to Joshua Tree or Yosemite for some fresh air.  I would like to see the results as I believe you are able to provide a fresh view (being refreshed at the same time :-).

Regards,

Chris, thanks. I totally agree. I need to get out of NYC and get more landscapes but I'm a workaholic & don't take vacation much. Yosemite is in my future.

But when I do, I do take a camera. See these in Puerto Rico. By the time when we went to the rain forest at the end of our trip, my compact tripod broke & I couldn't get the silky smooth streams or waterfalls in the forest: http://www.dezsantana.com/pr

Hey Dez

excellent Pano

I do not know anyone that does this better.

I see  you have gone to DX to FX,  with the D610.

congrats  on your purchase and have many good years

with this excellent camera. One day I may go to Full Frame.

Hope you and your family have a great holiday.

Lowell

I love all your panoramas, Dez. They give me a high bar to match when I make my own.

Dez, do you have a collection building up of the skyline (or just the Empire State Building) with various lighting for memorials, holidays, etc?  I know the colors are changed on the Empire State Building for various purposes, but didn't realize the extent it could be, or the reasons it might be.

I don't have collection, per say. But I do have the Empire State Building in it's various colored lights.

Here's a quick search on my site of the ESB:
