Quick 70D question

Just a quick question

I got a canon 6D which can magnify a preview to 100% with the touch of the magnify button (you can change this in the option menu)

Does the 70D also have an option like this ?
I really miss that function to quickly check if focus was 100% accurate

(i got both 70d en 6D)

Canon EOS 6D Canon EOS 70D

In the manual pg. 247 shows how it is done in Live View. You can cycle through 1X-5X-10X and move around the magnified section within the frame.

yes, but you can't make the magnify butten directly zoom 100% (as I can with my 6D) instead of zooming in steps ?

I don't see an option for this in 70D, you 'll have two push-step into it.

Nope.  It's press and hold, or use the touchscreen zoom gesture.

Magic Lantern has this feature for the 60D, among myriad other conveniences and great additions. Hopefully ML will be released for 70D in the near future. I dont think I would buy a 70D without ML, as it would be in many ways a downgrade without it.
