Think Tank Retrospective 5 and 6D

I went to a camera shop yesterday to get one of the Retrospective bags. I'm looking for a small bag where I can carry my 6D body (gripped) with the 24-105 attached, and nothing else. I was debating between the 5 and 7, however when I looked at the 5 It didn't look like my camera would fit, and the sales guy also assured me it would not, so I didn't even try and moved on to the 7.

The 7 is an amazing bag, but it's too big for a walk around bag. Plus, I already have a backpack that I can carry all my gear and I don't need another bag that does the same.

Anyone here with a Retrospective 5 that could share if they can fit their FF body (gripped) on a 5? It seems like Ken can fit his non gripped 5D MKII, and this guy here also appears to have a 5D, but gripped.

Thanks,

I've checked that too and it is really small for 5d mark iii with 24-105 plus extra lens. Try looking at Tenba DNA 11 or Tenba mini. I bought the DNA 11 but still waiting for the delivery. Cheers!

Thanks... checked that bag but it's also a bit overkill for what I want. I love the quick clip thou.

Went to back to the store and grabbed the Retrospective 5. The fit is not the best (mind you the material is still new), but the bag is exactly what I was looking for.

Took some quick shots with my phone (bad quality):

Bag full and closed

Here's a view of what I could quickly fit in the bag:
- 6D body (with grip) and 24-105 attached to it
- Lens hood for 25-105
- 50mm 1.8
- 430 EXII flash
- Nexus 7

Items

Using a #7 since a couple of weeks, perhaps the only con is the limited usability with the mounted rain cover - not a big problem for me with only a couple of rainy days at the mediterranean seaside.
