Wow, I cannot imagine their power bill.  It would pay for a new lens buy the end of the season!

This tree is easier than the live one we used to have:

Hope it's a happy season for all!

Funny, I think in terms of gear, as well. Their power bill must be staggering.

A neighbor's setup.

My friend's house. His son, now 18, has been decorating it alone since he was 12.

My home, big effort - not.

Not at home this Christmas so did a really minimal dressup. A cheap bunch of LEDs strung on a Polish tapestry in my lounge room. That's it for this year for me.

Oh well, at least it's houses dressed....

Window on left so wall lighting uneven.... it's 7am or so here now.

Not much point dressing the front of my house as it is below the road and really obscured by trees. And no way I'm climbing the trees to string lights in them.

Regards.... Guy

I was playing with TTL on the flash and trying to set up for a portrait later?

No lights on our tree, electricity is too expensive here in Ontario due to the mismanagement of our Liberal government.

Gate Lights

This gate has an unusual story. The wall and gate were put up by wealthy people who became paranoid after the Lindbergh baby kidnapping in the 1930s. A lovely family lives there now and they decorate their special gated entry in style. The snow last night put some icing on their cake.

Shot with my new PM2 and the kit lens. Processed single shot in Photomatix.
