Nice images.  You spent several days shooting there.  One of them yours?

Thanks Andrew.

"There" was an 8-day sailing trip from Brunswick, Georgia to Lantana, Florida via the inter-coastal. The images were shot during the 8 days of sailing and at various marinas along the way, where we docked in the evenings. We sailed about 8 hours each day ... only to go about 50 miles!

None of the boats are mine. The one I sailed on belongs to a good friend of mine who asked me to join him on the trip. It's the one in photo #4 on this post. It's a 42-foor, French-made Benetau ... a strong, comfortable, swift boat that sleeps 4 comfortably.

Great trip. Unforgettable, in fact.

It sounds like a great experience.  The largest sail boat I have been on was a 37 footer.  I have never been out for more than a few hours but the trip you are describing sounds like a terrific adventure, especially for someone that doesn't own a sail boat.

I would do it again in a heartbeat.  Actually, the trip originally started out as a much longer sail from Stamford, CT to Lantana ... about a 5-week trip! But my wife caught pneumonia, so I couldn't sail from the start. I joined up with him later on in Brunswick and went the rest of the way with him and his wife.

He now wants to sail the Atlantic to Spain or England! THAT I wouldn't do.
