A fast moving snow storm came through this morning, and this afternoon the sun came out and so did my XZ-1. These were taken on my walk to our local park.
Show us some Landscapes, as alien an environment for us here in the tropics.
It's a hot steamy 31 degrees C here today , stay warm mate no driving with the top down.
I hear you mate, but it's (-4C) here, and windy. Top is down on the MG, but she will be staying in the garage because we've had ice covered roads for two days now. Eddy and I are hunkered down for at least one more day. Cobber's got no problem with the snow, and doesn't understand what my problem is with the cold.
Landscapes will follow later.
-4 eh , well I could get to that and colder if I got into the penguin enclosure at Sea World.
Here is Eddy's mate Shelby , lives on the sunshine coast and hates our current weather.
Don't tell Shelby, but Eddy thinks she's a very pretty girl. Great dogs these Shelties, my wife and I have rescued (4) shelties over the past thirty years from our local Rescue Group. All were either neglected or abused. Below are a few images from this years Sheltie Rescue picnic. The golden lab laying down in the center of the first photo was greatly out numbered:-D
Eddy will turn 10 years old this month, and has just passed his Canine Good Citizenship test to become a therapy dog. We will start visiting a local hospital, and senior center after the first of the year.
Way to go Eddy
Nice warm experiences... By the way its good to know that , I am not the only one on the forum, who points the lens to highes bracnhes of a tree and taking a blue sky & brancehes. Additionally you have first snow Larry.
Good to hear from you, and thank you for your comments. Eddy's ancestors came from the Shetland Islands where (-4C) is a warm day in December, and he loves to play in the snow.
I hope to get up to Longwood Gardens soon for their Holiday display, and will post a few more images then.
