ANNOUNCEMENT OF IMPORTANCE TO ALL:

Due a cock-up at the printers, the Calendar for 2014 will be as normal but with the following changes.

Easter will be on Tuesday 47th July, two days after Christmas.

Boxing Day will now be on 32nd February, three days after New Year's Day.

August Bank Holiday will be on Thursday 15th April and All Saints Day the 30th February.

Spring Bank Holiday will now be held on 4th June and America's 4th July celebrations on 16th December.

Guy Fawkes Night will be on 23rd March and New Year's Eve on 12th August.

Halloween will be cancelled until 2097.

New Year's Day will be on 29th February, alternate years only.

All other holidays are cancelled, except for All Christmas Puds Day, which will be on October 5th.

Pork Pie Day will now be held in the Houses of Parliament every sixth Tuesday of each month, unless there is an R in the month.

All MPs will have to submit their expenses only by end of each month with no A, E, I, O or U in it. No other months will qualify.

Congressmen will now get obligatory 8,946 days holiday in North Korea.

Anyone who disapproves of these changes will be shot at dawn, then hung, drawn and eighthered.

This punishment will be applied to anyone found using a normally printed calendar.

Also, to anyone seen using a camera as will be considered a subversive exorcistic activity, especially if bearing the logo "Stigma".

Nice to see you doing something to combat those annoying "non artistic" picture posts here recently, Brian. But you might consider adding FAIL to your vocabulary.

Wishing you all the very best for the festive season where the rain falls mainly on the plain.

Am I kidding...? Of course I am. You don't need to be seen to... that happened years ago. Would life be simpler if I used smiley faces? Maybe, but I doubt it.

And to you and yours, Brian.
