I really like the clouds in the beach shot, but my favorite is the sand bars or rock formations in the water.  But I notice you shot alot of these at f16 and still had fast shutter speed.  I am curious if you were on a tripod why you chose that combo.

I dont have experience doing landscapes yet with GR and judging sharpness at f16.  I will need to test it out.

Thanks for viewing.  That should read 25s, i.e. a long exposure instead of fast shutter.  I used ND filter + tripod to do the long exposure.

I meant I used a 3rd party ND filter, not the GR built-in ND filter (which is not enough for such long exposure) ...

OK that makes sense considering the clouds.  I just like to see what settings were used to get a look and the shutter confused me.  Thanks for clarifying.

Thanks! They were all converted from RAW using Aperture.
