Zvonimir,

Don't bet on that - I found that they always notice - even little subtle things!

No sure about this K-3 image but one thing for sure, something is about to happen!

After all the anticipation - Better be good!!

Cheers

If it's not a fake then...

It's not a full frame. Unless they took press photos of a full Frame camera with an APS-c lens on it. Lol.

Re: Excellent! Wife won't notice!

Yes, that is a good thing.

Also, the K7/5/5IIs are such wonderfully shaped cameras, not changing them too much is cool with me.

If it is true I am happy, because it has one very nice feature of my K-5 limited: "To improve handling, this special-edition model comes with an exclusively designed grip that is thicker than the standard K-5 model." http://www.dpreview.com/news/2011/2/7/pentaxk5silver

It was the chunkier grip on the K5 Limited which prompted my purchase too.

Posted yesterday on another forum... if that's true, the future offerings are VERY interesting:

"The K3 isn't looks like the pictures. It's a little bigger, and heavier than the K5.
The body will be the same as the FF Pentax in 2014.
The k3 grip is not the same as K7-K5 grip.
The new AF is incredibly better than K5.
Double Sd slot, and many more improvements.
Less than two weeks......"

Cheers,

Tibor

Had never thought of that!!

Well, now I must be carefull having a K5 and a K5II in the house

Or maybe use it. I may present these two together now and then replace K5 with a K3

Be ready constant insatisfied people

I´m little curious to know what constant insatisfied people (and trolls) have to say when the new K-3 (or whattever it´s name have) showup:

I.E. "Pentax is doomed and I´ll jump ship because new K-3 have":

No evf

No flip total articulated screen

No wifi ready inbody

No 80mp sensor

No FF

No universal mount

No FR (fire resistance)

Too big

Too small

Hi speed video record (500fps)

No 4k video

No microwave cook capability

Bigger viewfinder! :)

the viewfinder is bigger!

and the grip does look more like the K5-Limited, but it's not it: the IR sensor is recessed on the L because of the thicker grip. Not the case here.

Looks like the grip will be the same as the K5 grip!

If they make a silver one, it might be able to slip into my bag undetected by the local authorities!  Heh heh!

Jajaja

I was thinking the same about replacing my white K-r for the new (white too of course) K-50.

Because of recently announcement, I´ll start saving for the K-3 to get it at the 2° half of the 2014
