Adobe / Lightroom support of Sigma Merrill RAWS coming soon?
Sep 10, 2013

I have Lightroom 4, and an older version of Adobe PhotoShop.  Obviously, neither will open Sigma DP Merrill files.

Does anyone know if Adobe's Camera RAW team is working on an update that will allow me to use an Adobe product to open Sigma DP Merrill RAW files?  And if so, when might it become available?

I'm sure Adobe would like to support the Merrill cameras, however there are some significant technical hurdles in doing so. Having said that, even the foveon cameras they do support, they don't support very well.

Actually, I'd just as soon see PhotoNinja folks tackle the Foveon sensor.

Contact Michael. He has inside information about what Adobe is up to.
