Scratch Disks Full?
Apr 29, 2013

Hi,

I keep having issues while working in Photoshop on my MacBook. It says that my startup drive is full and my scratch disks are full. I do not store anything on the computer itself-just on an external hard drive and I have no idea why my disk is full. It has gotten to where I can not work in layers at all.

Any advice?

Kristina

On the desktop, can you click on the scratch disk, and hit command + i to check the actual usage of the disk? or can you run the disk repair from the disk utility and check if the scratch disk is corrupted.

download this and you should be able to find any 'hidden' or utility files that may be consuming waayyyyy more than it should.  obviously, you MUST be careful about what you may want to consider discardable.
