These are some of the best "street photos" I ever saw. Most of such photos are just poor photography, because people think this sort of picture has to be tilted and fuzzy. Your photos are straight - and they tell a story, too.

A lot of nice stuff here. You definitely seem to have the night side of street photography pretty well figured out.

Excellent pictures, very well done. I like the diversity, the quality of light in the night pictures, the subjects, the framing and even the processing.

Congratulations,

Marc

Clearly you are having some kind of joke

These are incredible images. Jaw droppingly good.

It's the sort of work I can only dream of producing. If you are seriously so humble and a "beginner" at such things, please get a professional's opinion on these or perhaps 3 or 4. I would be very interested to hear.

I opened up the thread, thinking "here we go, some more snaps..." and was completely gob-smacked, chills came over me.

And it makes me wonder also about the capabilities of my humble nex 5n; how much more it has to offer, clearly!

Thanks for making my day with these.

I'm going to put the kettle on, grab a coffee and look at them again!

Wow! Very strong set of images! Too many to comment on particular images, but i note a theme among many of them—the definition of spaces and enclosures, whether literally with the use of glass enclosures and windows, or simply the personal space defined by the people in the photo. The surrounding darkness often accentuates these worlds set apart from their surroundings.

Was this something you consciously had in mind when shooting, or just a result of what happened when you followed your eye? Either way, it's a very engaging notion.

Thanks for sharing!

I agree. There are a few that Cartier-Bresson would have been glad to claim - like the guy carrying the bag of cans near the streetcar. VERY impressive!

They are some the most stunning images I have seen compiled in a single post. Great work man specially with lighting and framing! BTW what applications you are using to PP your images?

All of them are good and a few are outstanding. For example, man standing next to belts....sweet shot.
