Canon 600EX-RT and Yongnuo YN622C wireless trigger

Hi there...

I do believe this question has been asked, but I could not find the anwer anywhere : can we wirelessly trigger a Canon 600EX-RT using a Yongnuo YN622C (without attaching the YN622C to the 600EX-RT - the single unit would be attached to the camera only) ? I believe if I attach a second YN622C to the 600EX-RT it would be possible. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Cheers.

You are correct on both points.

Canon's RT radio tech - so far - is not compatible with any other radio based system. And I suspect Canon like it that way.

If you are going the Yn622C route, then it makes sense to attach a Speedlite, that is cheaper than Canon's 600Ex-RT, but yet fully compatible with those triggers. Yn publish a list.
