Desktop background changed
Apr 9, 2013

When I started my MBPro, my desktop background photo was replaced by the standard background desktop image.

Of course, I changed it back through System Preferences.

My question is why and/or how the background was changed back and/or how it could have happened?

Thanks for your help and information.

I'd guess that somehow the window manager preferences file got corrupted and system used a failsafe/fallback.

Thanks for the info.  Is there anyway "window/manger preference" can be corrected?

Often, simply changing it back to what was will re-write it

Try it.  Log out and log back in and see what you get.
