Apologies, the DPR system does not work properly and records  the vertical portyarit picture in a compressed landscape format

All right, I guess that's me again who will open this regular and very popular thread.

This thread is always a lot fun and great learning experience.

A place to show off what you and your Fuji X camera can do.

Please reply to the original post but change the title to reflect the subject of your image(s) so that you post starts a new section.

If you can provide details on the subject, camera, settings and processing, that would be great for people reviewing the images.

Don't be shy:)

Share, discuss & enjoy!

I'm not trying to be mawkish or either positive or negative about the lady herself, but I confess (as someone who grew up in the 80s) that seeing this newspaper billboard felt eerie and strange. It was like a part of my childhood had died.

ISO 200, F4, 1/105

Taken with my X100S and processed in LR/Silver Efex

Walk in Central Park, NYC

Walk in Central Park, NYC. Yeah, I posted these two as part of bigger set in a separate thread but will add here as well. In the first one I like how the girl on the left is checking out my Fuji camera (I doubt she is not checking me out). But the groom kissing his bride really gets me because he is kissing her with his hands in his pocket. If he had a cigarette in that hand it would be even more interesting, reminiscent of an the star in a film noir movie. B&W conversion with Topaz B&W plugin

Re: Walk in Central Park, NYC

Excellent pictures.

And yes that girl was checking you out.

It is a well know fact that Fuji X cameras make men more attractive (like a good swiss wrist watch):))

when i had money I used to own a Movado but these days i do not wear a watch, just an iPhone. Perhaps she was drawn to my little red shutter button, the coolest feature on my camera

If you can provide details on the subject, camera, settings and processing, that would be great for people reviewing the images.

Spring Air

Captured with a brand new X20. I included some details on settings/processing on my blog  as part of a review. I'm currently working on transitioning from OOC jpegs to RAF import with ACR/CS6, and  will update  after a little more raw workflow experience.
