Camera Calibration in Lightroom 4

Hi,

I have just got the Lightroom 4, and have a question.

In Develop there is: Camera Calibration -> Camera Standard. I want to set Camera Standard on every import. How can I do this?

Thanks in advance.

Re: Camera Calibration in Lightroom 4

Open up a raw file

Set your development settings including "Camera Standard" that you would like to have as defaults on import.

Go to "Develop" menu and select

"Set Default Settings...."

In preferences you can have the default settings dependant on the serial number of your camera and/or ISO setting.

Hope this helps

Camera Standard is the automatic default., when you are viewing a raw file.

I thought Adobe Standard was the default profile. But maybe I'm wrong.

No, you are right - out of the box Lightroom is set to Adobe Standard.

You can set the default to Camera Standard, any other available camera calibration, or any camera calibration you have created.  Select the desired camera calibration then hold down the Alt (Option) key to change the button that normally reads Reset into one that reads Set Default...  Click on Set Default... and that becomes the default Camera Calibration.
