From yesterday

I was at my usual birding spot and saw a great blue heron flying by, so I followed him and captured his hunting sequel. Shot with my Canon 7D and Sigma 120-300 + 1.4x TC (rarely used these days).
Flying over
Landed and start searching his prey
He caught a mice
Mice tried to hang on to a straw and refuse to die
No problem - GBH simply drown the mice and wash it off at the same time
Now the job is done
Enjoy the meal!
Walk away from his hunting ground
Flying away again
To another place
