EF-S Lens adapter for Canon 6D EOS
Feb 20, 2013

Hello
I just bought a new telephoto lens:
EF-S 55-250mm f/4.0-5.6 IS II Telephoto Zoom Lens
But I can't use with my Canon 6D
Does anyone know if there's a lens adapter i can use for that?
Thank you all.

There is no adapter that lets you use a EF-S lens on an EF body without losing many of the advantages of gthe lens.

The main problem is that the image the EF-S lens"projects" onto the sensor is too small and does not reach the edges of the large sensor in the full frame camera.

Negative. And there are far better lenses for full frame. It's like putting hubcaps on a Mercedes.

Lens snobbery aside, that lens is popular with the Rebel crowd. I hated it but I may have had a bad copy. Too many people like it for mine to have been a representative sample. The lens I wish was EF mount is the 17-55, it was excellent.
