***STF's Weekly Photo's (Macros)*** (Feb 17 to Feb 23)
****If you have a suggestion for a weekly topic post it in Subject Box.****
Welcome toSony Talk Forum's Weekly PhotosThread. Here's the place to share your
"Macros" Photography.
There are no Winners...No Losers! Just the fun of sharing your photos with everyone on STF....
Please COMMENT on each other's photos, as the thread has no moderator (This means I will not be commenting on each & every post). We will see how it goes? This is continuation of the Weekly Landscape Thread.I took it over as Rich had tired of hosting it after a very long time. Thanks, Rich
Bill

Please comment on your fellow photographer's work. It's nice and it's the right thing to do. Please let us all know the camera used to take your photograph(s). if you would like to share information regarding techniques and processing, please feel free to do so.
Please ask for advice if you need it or want it. There's a wealth of information in this community and, although, many folks are very busy, there's a good chance that someone will have both the answer and the time to give it. So bring them on, and have fun!

PS. If you want critiques on your photos say so in your posts, but be prepared for "Criticism" which can be a Good Thing.

The 1st shot...Don't like it Don't like how blown out it is. Also It seems like focus is uneven. Did you shoot this with the defocus background option?
2nd shot is really Goood.
3rd shot is nice also except the oof in foreground distracts from the photo

HX1 is Good for Macros

This lily had a little visitor.

But the HX200V isn't bad either, if you get very close and zoom back most of the way.

This last one was done with an HX100V, to complete an HX-Series group. It was taken in the 5-MP mode, when I forgot that was where the camera was set.

I assume that some of these were not taken with a macro lens. I'm impressed with the results.
