Taken last night, one of my favourite flowers: the snowdrop.  (Smartbox, thanks for the inspiration!)

They should be up here soon, four more weeks or so. A wonderfully delicate image.

An image meant for monochrome. Something about the light from above, on the top of one wing and a hint on the other.

The dynamics of both gazes in the second is so intriguing, Wonderful composition.

The contrasting shapes guides the eye to the hands and focus. Like the mix of relaxed posture and intent look. Very effective.
