I'm still trying to get the best out of my Minolta 70-210/4 the Beercan, but so far so good.
A77 + Minolta 70-210/4. With a fast PP and almost no crop

Wonderful set Justin. I love the heart shaped mating herons shot the most. Great composition and amazing clarity.

Some fine shots of that Harrier! Nice light and very sharp with detail.
I saw a Red-breasted Nuthatch at our feeders a couple of months ago, but he was gone before I could get my camera. They are pretty unusual around here, but very distinct from the White-breasted variety. You got a lot of nice feather detail in those shots.

A Dunnock taken today with my A57 and Sal500f80 mirror lens.
" you should get rid of that cheap lens and get a proper lens" said another ( Canon) snapper...
Pffft!
I love A57 and 500 mirror combination!

Wow--you nailed the Harrier and nuthatch really well. I got a similar pic of a Harrier last week that was almost identical to your first shot--BUT yours is much nicer!

Ed-- you got a lot of shots this week [again!]. I'm not sure I've ever seen a bluebird in these parts, so it's nice to see such a great shot of one.
The hawk is really nice (although I don't know what an RSH is). That deer is very well fed!

Beautiful shots! That eagle is underside is striking and authoritative! Wouldn't want that thing coming at me for dinner. The last shot of the duck flock and snow has to go on the wall!
