Well. From 43 Rumors we can read this.

Here it is the text on the site.
Olympus MFT cameras:
I expect a new kind of PEN camera to be announced soon (late January-early February). Same E-M5 sensor and likely with integrated EVF. On the OMD front there will be a new camera in Store by the second half of the year. And it may be a hybrid MFT and FT camera capable of fully support both lens systems. That may will be the hottest new Olympus camera coming in 2013.
The E-PL and E-PM series may be updated in 2014.
Panasonic MFT cameras:
The next two new MFT cameras will be the G7 and and GF7. Both should hit stores in Spring 2013. It remains a mystery why Panasonic hasn’t updated the GX series in late 2012. They may want to radically change the GX features and that could be the reason why it’s coming in 2013 only. Some rumors said it will be announced in Spring and some other said in late 2013. So no solid time frame yet.
New MFT Lenses:
Panasonic already announced the new 42.5mm f/1.2 and 150mm f/2.8 MFT lenses but they said they will be available in 2014 only. My guess is that they may still announce the final specs and price in late 2013 with early shipments around December 2013-January 2014. Does it mean there will be no other new MFT lenses from Panasonic? Definitely not. But they may be cheap slow zooms only.
Olympus next lens should be announced in late January. No specs have been unveiled yet. The only sure thing is that Olympus said that they want to focus on the development and release of new prime lenses. No word about fast zooms yet.
Schneider will release the 14mm f/2.0, 30mm f/1.4 and 60mm f/2.4 macro AF lenses.
Also Tokina, SLRmagic and Sigma will release new MFT lenses. Not so Zeiss.
Surprises:
Yep, a trusted source told me about a new kind of camera coming from Panasonic. But I hope to get some details about it soon before to spread the news…
What do you think about these rumors ? If there is anything to think.

I think it makes PERFECT sense for Oly to introduce a rangefinder PEN.
I am wondering what Panasonic is going to do with the GF7, though....(or GF6, whatever number they choose next for the GF5 successor...) The way I see it, if they decide to make the GX2 a rangefinder style camera with a built-in EVF, that would make a lot of sense. Then, if I were them, I would make the GF7 with the current G5 sensor, add external EVF capability (and yet keep the onboard flash), and they would have a heck of a camera, for a reasonable price.
As to the G7 (or G6....) I bet it is the same essential camera as the G5 but with the GH3 sensor instead of the GH2 sensor).
But, who knows......

In terms of purely feeding rumors. I had to have some work done on my E-M5 and was talking with a tech at Olympus. We started talking about different lenses. I was telling him I wasn't that impressed with the 12-50 and that I was really missing the 12-60. I told him that if Oly released a standard m43 mount zoom with that kin of IQ I'd be among the first in line. He said keep your ears open in January. I don't know if he actually knew anything. And it may well just be my wishful thinking. But I have to think that at some point Oly will release a higher grade standard zoom and probably a higher grade medium telephoto zoom.

I am with you on these opinions. I only doubt about the GH3 sensor on the new G and GF, I guess they have a new sensor in mind.
It will be great to have rangefinder cameras from Panasonic Lumix and Olympus, with a good EVF built in on the left side.

Question, who moderates the moderators?

When the moderators burst into "latest rumour" mode, who is really there to keep a tight rein on the speculative rumours?
Can we appoint a Master Moderator to keep Moderator nonsense at bay?

no doubt Olympus use him as a conduit for what they want to say
just as they do with all those other obscure websites they make us google translate from
he's been hinting he has something coming for awhile

The admins
I guess it is not an issue to post rumors, at least possible ones, since there is no trolling and no offences.

There's no offence but rumours are truly a waste of space and should be discouraged/ignored. It's way better to spend time on discussing the models we have in hand than to pile dream on dream of what might be.
Maybe I'm being too practical and sensible, it must be the atheist in me. Apologies for my logical behaviour. I'll go have breakfast now.

There may be potential buyers interested in a PEN, but prefer a built-in EVF.
It would be frustrating to save and buy a PEN without one and then find a day later the camera really desired is announced.
It is always good to do some research and plan ahead.

As for rumours, the people who want/need viewfinders will find that it will all go away when the rear screen on cameras is finally made that can be seen clearly under all lighting conditions.
Then finally the "peer through the hole" photography will be at last dead. Cheers and applause from all users (except some traditionalist oldies).

Sometimes I am that way, but I try to calm down. It maybe a bit of waist of space, but when the rumors are good to discuss the new cameras no issues. Anyway I have to agree that is better to discuss about the actual cameras and lenses.
No need for apologies, no offense taken. have a good breakfast.

True, I hope that in the future they make LCD's like that. But on strong light it will be difficult to achieve that. (that's my opinion)

I don't know that he knows anything. I don't know why a tech would be in a position to know anything about product releases. We were talking about the 12-35 which I like but I would prefer a bit more length even with variable aperture. And his comment surprised me. Is there anything behind it? I haven't a clue.

Yes, but we can not control what the brands want to do. To me they could launch new cameras with a longer interval of time. This way more new features and improvements we see in new models, not just a few improvements like sometimes happens.
It is always good to do some research and plan ahead.
I agree.

I think this is overdue to both P&O to introduce EVF on GF and E-P bodies
